Widgets now work without live lock state
Android widgets are now fully functional even when the lock state is not actively being refreshed. Widget interactions no longer require a live state refresh to operate, providing a more seamless experience.
Open lock details from widget
You can now tap a lock name directly in the devices home screen widget to navigate immediately to that lock’s details page, eliminating the need for additional navigation steps.
Open WebView pages in browser
Pages rendered in the in-app WebView now include a dedicated button that allows you to open them in your external browser for a full browsing experience.
Fixes
- Fixed a fatal crash in Auto Unlock that occurred during foreground notification setup.
- imroved auto-unlock — the feature now checks RSSI level and will not connect to the lock if the signal strength is poor.
- Fixed an issue with lock unlocked notifications — the app now correctly respects location accuracy in distance calculations.
Faster app launch after cold start—improvements make opening the app faster after it’s been killed and relaunched
We’ve improved the startup time after a “cold launch” (when the app is fully closed or killed and then reopened). Most users will notice the Tedee app opens quicker and is ready to use sooner in these situations. Please note: after updating to this version, your very first launch may still be slower than usual, but future cold starts will benefit from these speed enhancements.
Improved error handling when adding Tedee GO to Apple Home—failed commissioning now stops properly so users know when to try again
This update addresses an issue that occurred specifically with Tedee GO locks when adding them to Apple Home (via Matter). If a problem occurs during the commissioning process, the app now halts the process and clearly informs the user, making it easier to know when and how to retry. This prevents confusion and ensures you won’t get stuck on unclear errors during setup.
Updated PIN code lists for lock owners when using keypad over Bridge—pull to refresh now reliably shows the latest PINs
If your Tedee keypad is connected via Bridge (not Bluetooth), you may have seen outdated PIN lists in some cases. Now, simply using pull-to-refresh on the PINs list will always fetch the latest codes directly from your device, giving owners the most accurate, up-to-date view of active PINs.
Force unlock now correctly releases the clutch on doors equipped with a pull-spring mechanism.
Resolved an issue where the lock could get stuck in the pull-spring position on doors with a short pull-spring configuration.

- Edit group from group details: A three-dots menu in the top-right corner of the group details page now includes an Edit option. Selecting it opens the prefilled edit group sidebar; saving refreshes the details view with updated values.
